Kasia Mackay
Kasia was always such a presence in our lives. She and her sister Georgie lived in the same street as us growing up. We spent long summers playing the best games – Kasia was always so funny and imaginative, and this fuelled our fun.
Kasia always told us hilarious stories, and was often the butt of her own jokes. She would take the mick out of you, but have you rolling on the floor with laughter, always making sure that you were in on the joke.
When we were in secondary school, Kasia and her family moved to Scotland, but she always made sure to come down and visit us – going to our house parties, and taking us out in Newcastle for our 18th birthday. Despite being older than us, she was never too embarrassed to hang out together.
Kasia was so loved by our parents, family and all our friends. We miss her so much, but she will live on forever in our hearts and in our best childhood memories.
