Aaron
In 2021, I lost my friend Aaron to suicide. I’m doing this challenge to celebrate how he lived, not how he died.
Aaron always put friends first. He was deeply intelligent and educated, yet completely humble and non-judgmental. In 2007, during my darkest times, he was there to make me laugh and pull me through.
My fundraising target is £711, symbolizing the 7,011 days we were friends. Every pound supports Speak Their Name, a charity raising suicide awareness and breaking mental health stigma. To support my fundraising, please visit my page: Just Giving
This is about more than money:
It’s about speaking his name.
It’s about remembering those we’ve lost.
It’s about supporting those struggling today.
Every conversation can make someone feel less alone. Let’s show that no one has to face life’s challenges in isolation.
Let’s keep speaking their names.
For Aaron. For everyone we’ve lost. For everyone still here.
